The Follow-Up Committee for the Support of the Lebanese Detainees in the Israeli Prisons celebrates every year the day of the Arabic Captive in the Israeli Prisons which comes with the 23 memory of detaining Samir Al-Kuntar the Leader of the Lebanese Captives.
   
The occasion came this year when all the Palestinian towns and villages turned to bloody prison due to the savage war built by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people using all ways of illegal killing, by bombing citizen houses with helicopters and assassinates. 

We used to call Arabic captive detainees “Living martyrs” but today the Palestinians people became “Living martyrs”.

The memory of the Arabic captive is a voice to the world to remember our captives and to demand to liberate them and save Palestinian people from daily massacres by the Israeli gangs.

The number of the Arabic detainees in the Israeli prisons:

The Israeli prisons still contain 1760 Palestinian captive distributed in 11 prisons. There are 40 detainees from the Arabic captives including 14 Lebanese captives and 4 Syrian from Al-Joulan Hill with 4 Jordanian too. 
Since 1967 till now the number of the captives are 850 thousands, their number during “Oslo Agreement” was 12500 captives so Israel used those Arabic captive to make pressure on Palestinians for its benefit after finding the Palestinian official is weak, the captives should be released before the negotiation and signing agreements. 
 
Today detainees suffer from torturing where prisons management starts to separate detainees according to their political believes and where they live, they separated the detainees of Palestinian Liberation Organization from Hamas detainees, also separated Hamas detainees from Al-Jihad Al-Islami, and also separated Al-Kouds detainees from Al-Deffa and Ghaza detainees. The Israeli occupation forces are still practicing physical and psychological ways in torturing detainees; also the patients receive rude treatments at hospitals. They tide their hands and legs and they are not allowed to go out side their rooms in addition to loss of the medicines and their actions.

The detainees rooms are filled with bugs, cock roach, and scorpions. Their families face a lot of difficulties to visit them.

The detainees face these suppresses actions by strikes on food, and by resistance although they have been detained for 25 years, some of them like Lebanese captives who live with Palestinian and Arabs in one community, and the Palestinian families take care of Arabic captives as their children.

The Lebanese detainees expressed a rare human attitude when they refuse to be free unless all the Arabic and Palestinian captives are free too.
Today we celebrate this international humanism and nationalism, we confirm everyone to make the day of the Arabic captive the day of the Joint Liberty with Palestinian uprising and Palestinian captives and demanding to organize Arabic and International campaign for their freedom and saving them from Israeli prisons prompting to share us in the day of Arabic captives.
